Professor Roberto Fontana, from the department of Mathematical Sciences of Polytechnic University of Turin, visited Urgench State University in January. He first lectured to master students of the newly created master in Mathematical Engineering at UrSU, academic staff and other interested students. The lecture was held at ECCUM project room at the Physics and mathematics faculty of UrSU.

He then visited the Urgench branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies on 22nd of January, 2018. He did a presentation about the education system in Polytechnic University of Turin, about the ECCUM project and about the new master program "Mathematical engineering" which is created at Urgench State University on behalf of the ECCUM project. Administration, academic staff and gifted students took part in the meeting. I think it was a great activity in dissemination of the project results.
